I have had the privilege of working with several entrepreneurs in small corporate settings. Realizing that my own techniques for organization were overwhelmingly mysterious to some of them, I sought to stretch my own thinking to discover new ideas for providing better support, meeting them in their world instead of dragging them listlessly into mine!

This has taken me into territory that was initially disconcerting and uncomfortable. The thought patterns of those with ADD and ADHD are as different from my own as they are from one another. I am challenged to make new connections myself as we work together to reach exciting possibilities for their lives. There is no "correct" way — except to find a way that works for each client.

By availing myself of the training for coaches specializing in ADD and ADHD offered by the Optimal Functioning Institute (OFI), and educational programs offered by the National Study Group on Chronic Disorganization (NSGCD), I am better equipped to serve all of my clients, whether or not they have ADD or ADHD.

This is exciting, challenging, rewarding work, whether results are more quickly evident when organizing living and work spaces, or come about gradually while coaching someone with a commitment to change.
